Jessica Lemarié was born in 1976 and grew up in the Parisian suburbs. As the daughter of a Greek-born fashion designer, she learned to sew and make patterns as a teenager, and her relationship with Ted Lapidus on her mother's side led her naturally to fashion. The young girl did several internships in haute couture fashion houses, such as Torrente.

While devoting herself to her family life, Jessica Lemarie-Pirès became the muse of a celebrity hair stylist. He created a cosmetic line that Jessica named Onira Organics. She started as the face of the brand and gradually her involvement in the business grew. She made her way up to becoming the CEO of the company in 2014 and established the brand as one of the favorite luxury clean haircare brands amongst eco-conscious consumers.

In 2019 she took on a new challenge, as she wanted to return to fashion – her first love and an industry she knows very well. She joined the St Martin’s School in London to study swimwear design.

Finally, in 2020, she launched her eco-friendly swimwear brand: KYMINA.
